Juggers pull to tug-o-war victory

Fantastic afternoon for The Jug & Glass tug-o-war team when they pulled to 'undefeated' victory in all ends to earned the Lea & Holloway Carnival Tug-O-War title!

   Led by Gordon Thorpe the scratch team of Helen Woodruff, Drew Robertson, Karen Morley, Mark Pollak and anchorman Greg Woodward made light work of the opposition beating a strong Red Barrels side in the final.

    Now nicknamed The Juggers, the team were delighted with their achievements. Gordie said: "It was a bloody good show. We should be proud of ourselves, especially the girls."
