Skypes, quiz nights on the piste!

Jug quiz nights are becoming so popular that even those going away still want to take part...Braindead quizzers Martin Emery, Len Fisher & Dave Geeson did just that from Austria!

   They hooked up with fellow teammates during a ski-ing holiday via a Skype link to the Jug. Unfortunately, they failed to triumph but earned a packet of crisps, to share, for their efforts to compete from afar!

   Our quiz nights are usually every week, starting at 8.30pm and running through until about 10pm, the next is on Wednesday, 15 February, 2012!

   Quizmaster Drew Robertson, famed for his distinctive delivery of tricky questions, is in the hot seat and insists 'there's no feteing' and mobile phones are banned. It's becoming quite an attraction with spirited, competitiveness - but this is definitely meant to be a fun night so we encourage teams from across the community and beyond!

   Each week the winners get drinks tokens, and there's a booby prize. In addition there is also a chance to win a pot of money in the raffle with the winner answering a question. If the prize isn't won it will rollover!
