The Jug and Glass Inn is a real gem hidden away in the Derwent Hills, a ramblers' paradise, brimming with character, continuity of fine food and great ale.

Jez and Sharon Hytch took over the popular pub in summer 208 and warmly welcome customers to experience the unforgettable ambience of the old traditional inn.

With a top chef in place, a whole variety of options are on offer. During the autumn and winter months we have out 'Jug Menu' providing good quality pub food. It is complimented by a whole array of Specials – which are changed on a weekly basis. Locally sourced ingredients are used where possible.
