Burns Night 2009

Jug regulars gathered for a fantastic night in honour of the Scottish Bard, Robert Burns. It was the 250th anniversary of the famous poet's birth on 25 January, 1759.

The traditional celebration included the haggis being piped in, Burns' Selkirk Grace, the address to the haggis (the Ode to the Haggis delivered by Drew Robertson), regulars reciting Tam o'Shanter and plenty of toasting!

Here's a few pictures giving you a flavour of the great, fun, entertaining Special Nights hosted at The Jug and Glass Inn in Lea.
