Bennie 'The Arrow' lifts Jug Darts Title 2009

After months of waiting, Paul 'Bennie' Bower lifted The Jug Darts Championship 2009 in a tense final battle with Simon Tunnicliffe on Sunday afternoon (20 September, 2009).

  Earlier the defeated finalist Simon beat Jug landlord Jez Hytch in the traditional best of three 501 format, but he was unable to raise his game to Bennie's standard.

   As you can see from the picture above Bennie (left) was delighted to receive the coveted Waterfall Cup from jovial pub host Jez. Excuse the shaky camera work the snapper had been in the pub all afternoon!
