Anglo-American Skittles Challenge bowls 'em over!

It was another great sporting night at The Jug & Glass when ladies teenager soccer team Liberty FC from St. Louis, Missouri, America, took on the pub's skittles team.

   Despite the girls being defeated 7-0 it was a closer run competition than the scoreline suggests for the team who were a staying close by at Lea Green Development Centre, with parents staying at The Jug & Glass accommodation.

   To crown the night The Jug presented a special Anglo-American Challenge Trophy in the shape of a skittles, turned by our own captain Pete Whitehead. And it was great on the final night when St Louis organisers presented Jez and Sharon with the Liberty FC club emblem and a commerative medal to mark their visit.
